St Luke’s Medical Center BGC
St. Luke’s – Global City Facility is home to the country’s first Center for Advanced Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, under its Institute of Digestive and Liver diseases. The diagnostic and therapeutic center addresses upper and lower gastrointestinal diseases using state-of-the-art technology from Japan. Among the available procedures at the center are Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) and Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), which do not require open surgery.
St. Luke’s Brain Attack Team (BAT), the first of its kind to be globally-recognized and accredited by the JCI, ensures the rapid and correct treatment of stroke. The BAT is composed of neurology and neurosurgery stroke consultants, stroke fellows, stroke nurses, emergency department doctors, radiology consultants, and endovascular specialists.
